Position: Engineering Intern (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical)
Overview: Join our team as an Engineering Intern and gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment focused on roofing shingle machinery. This internship offers the opportunity to work closely with our engineering team, contributing to various projects and tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in creating and updating manuals for machinery and equipment.
Support the engineering team in specifying and ordering parts and materials.
Participate in the design and development of mechanical, industrial, and electrical systems.
Conduct research and gather data to support engineering projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes.
Perform tests and inspections to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
Document and report findings from engineering analyses and testing.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on the production floor.
Participate in team meetings and provide input on project progress and improvements.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety standards.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering program. (Pursuing Bachelor’s, Sophomore or above)
Strong interest in manufacturing and machinery.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Basic understanding of CAD software is a plus.
